Lambert Leads at Hell on Hooves

Rimbey, Alberta - It was another sold out crowd at the Rimbey Agrim Centre for the Hell on Hooves BRC. The team from Adrenaline Productions (Jeff & Andria Sahli, and Curtis & Corrie Sawyer), treated these bull riding fans to a great show!

As the Coors Banquet Bull Riders Canada Season VII presented by Nelson Homes gets underway, BRC Rookie Jett Lambert from Grande Prairie, Alberta took home his first event win.

"It was a really good event, had a lot of fun. It was my first Bull Riders Canada win which felt really good. Sweet bull - it was a good 81.5 points." says Lambert.

Even at such a young age, Jett Lambert is already a true professional "...before anything, I'd just like to take the time to thank my (personal) sponsors CLH Bid and Crooked Horn Cowboy Protection for all they do for me" adds Lambert, taking a moment to show his gratitude.

Jett took home the event title with his 81.5 point ride on Outlaw Buckers Rodeo Corp.'s 326 Change My Name.

When asked about the bull that got him the win, Lambert says "I watched a video about probably 50 times knowing exactly what he was going to do. I’m like ‘okay, he’s gonna be right there to the left’, so I set my rope down a little bit there just to kind of get ready for him, and thought he had me beat around the corner. I was playing some catch-up, I finally got to where I wanted to be - decided to keep a good one under me."

Jett's preparation certainly paid off, as he took home over $2000.00. He also received 300 much needed points early in the Season to the BRC National Standings brought to you by Nelson Homes.

Jett talks about the level of competition as he progresses up into the higher ranks of Bull Riding. "It’s a whole different atmosphere I guess you’d say. It’s a lot more serious, it’s a lot more professional, they’re really good deals."

With a brand new pair of custom chaps donated by TFB Leather as the Rookie of the Year Award, Jett has a real shot at it.

"...I think I’m capable" says Lambert. "I want all the other bull riders to know that I’m here to stay and I’m gonna make some money. Give ‘em a run for it."

"...I just want to be the best I can be." Jett says while discussing his goals for the Season. "I wrote down some goals, I want to make Rookie of the Year in BRC, I want to be Canadian High School Rodeo Bull Riding Champion, go down to Nationals, maybe win the LRA and the WRA at the Finals there..."

We're sure with Jett's confidence and professionalism, he's going to accomplish a lot of those goals - he's off to a pretty good start!
