BRC Season VIII & Finals Update

Irricana, Alberta - Due to the current, on-going situation surrounding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic, Bull Riders Canada is saddened to officially announce the postponement of Season VIII and our Season VIII Finals event.

"It's unfortunate with the current events (COVID-19) that Season VIII and the Finals will have to be postponed. I know for me, as a Director and Judge with BRC, this has been a hard year not being a part of rodeo. Here's to hoping all the Contestants and Committees are preparing for next year and blowing the 'revised' Season out of the park!" - Kyle German, BRC Member Director

All remaining 2020 Events and entry dates are considered tentative unless otherwise posted. BRC Events that occur between now and the end of the year, will automatically count toward the BRC Finals in 2021.

Current 2020 BRC Members will have their Membership carried over into 2021 at no additional cost to the applicant.

The BRC Finals were originally scheduled to take place this coming November 20th & 21st in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. However, with the majority of the Season VIII Events being postponed to 2021 due to COVID-19, there will not be enough regular Season events to hold a Finals event this year.

"Words cannot even begin to describe how much we miss seeing the faces of our extended BRC Family. We remain hopeful that Provincial guidelines on indoor and outdoor gathering limits will allow for BRC events to start up this fall, and we continue to work with our Committees on their comfort levels in hosting. Our Committees need the support of the loyal fans to help make these amazing events such a success for their communities!" - Jennifer Friend, BRC Executive Director

"I imagine many Sylvan Lakers and BRC fans are disappointed today; however, the decision to postpone the 2020 BRC Finals, is the right one. We look forward to gathering, celebrating, and welcoming the bulls and their riders back to Sylvan Lake in 2021!” - Sean McIntyre, Mayor Town of Sylvan Lake

Stay Safe everyone, we will see you again soon!
